How To Write A Resume

Remember this important phrase.

Resume helps you to get an interview NOT a job

It’s the interview helps you get a job.

The question now is,

“How are you going to make the person who reads your resume giving you a call?”

It must attract the person to read more of your resume.

1. Layout is important. It helps when your resume layout is different from 100 resumes with the same layout. There are many jobseekers using same resume builder from specific jobsite.

Spend some time study different resume layouts that are available from Internet and customized it. When you customized it, your resume will stand out from the rest.

2. Wording of your resume. An attractive resume is easy to read. Employers will ignore those resumes that are difficult to read.

3. Contents. The most important content of your resume is your professional working experience. This is where you highlight your achievements to prospective employers. Write down the goods thins you did in your work instead of the job descriptions.

Example,
Cost savings activities
Sales achievement
Clearing the backlog
Any ideas or activities, which contributes to efficient and effective work
Meeting the deadline of your work
Teaching new staff

A word of advice: Be honest in stating your achievement.

4. Please remember this. Don’t forget to include your name and contact number. There is nothing more funny than an impressive resume without name and contact number. There are people made this mistake.
